New Year Glitz

Does it sparkle so much it's blinding? Is it a little extra? Does it scream paaaaarty? If it doesn't, I am not wearing it. If I am not in all black, I am in something over the top. That's basically my moto. New Years is the perfect time to step out of your comfort zone and put an a glamorous sequin dress.

There's so many different ways you can style sequin. Here are some of my favorite styles:

The (shiny) little black dress | This is a CLASSIC. It's your fully sequinced dress that's flattering, fun and effortless. What I love about a sequin dress is that it's SO much that it actually becomes easy to do SO little with it. You don't have to accessorize much, you just slap on a nice pair of earrings (maybe) and a good pair of heels and you're done!

The shirt dress | You don't have to be in a forfm fitting dress this New Years. You can still put on a sequin dress and stay comfortable. If you plan to do lots of dancing this is a perfect option!

The sequin skirt | If sequin is a bit much for you, you can pair a sequin skirt wikth a plain top tpo tone it down like I am showing. This is one of my favorite combos for a holiday party that is fun but not "too much".

The partially sequinced dress | If you're not down for the all-sequin look go for a dress that has some sequin but other things too. I LOVE mixing mesh with sequin. It's so classy and gorgeous!

The non-sequin sequin | If you want to try something a little different I am loving the new large sequin trends that make the entire look a little more casual but still glamorous.
